No, a purebred Australian Cattle Dog should have fur. This breed is known for heavy shedding and is not the best breed for those allergic to dogs.
Like anyone, Australian Cattle Dogs have different personalities. My cattle dogs is mean to other dogs and won't listen to me, but my friend's cattle dogs love people and dogs and know many tricks.
It all depends. My Aussie gets along well with other dogs and other Australian cattle dogs but she meet them when she was a puppy. it depends on how social your dog is and if she is protective of you. if she is than i would have her and the other dog meet at a park or someplace where they both have not been so they don't feel as protective and territorial.
Beagles for sure I have owned both type of dogs and by far my Cattle dogs are the better dog
Australian Cattle Dogs can also be called Queensland Heeler, Blue Heeler (dogs showing the 'bluish'gray and black coloring), and Red Heeler (reddish colored dogs.) Yes indeed they are if both dogs are well socialized they will get along fine, A nine week old Australian cattle dog and a four year old husky are playing at my feet just now as I type this answer. If the question was more along the lines of breeding compatibility then the answer would depend on personal preference, and I would say yes probably would produce good looking dogs with ranging personalities.
