The interesting thing about Scuba diving, is legally, there are no licenses or certifications required. The problem arises, however, that while scuba is an extremely safe sport, some training is required to make it safe. And from a liability standpoint, dive shops, and dive resorts will not rent gear, or take people diving unless they can show a scuba license (or C-Card - certification card) from a recognized training agency.
You can take classes locally or online that teach scuba diving, and upon graduation from the class, a certification card (which resembles a credit card) with your name, date certified, etc is given. That card will be required in most any location in order to dive.
There are different levels of certification, Open Water Scuba Diver, Advanced Scuba Diver, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Instructor, etc, and by taking additional classes, someone can gather more experience, education and certifications.
Beyond recreational diving, there are courses for technical diving including deep, mixed gas, cave diving, etc, and there are also commercial dive courses covering everything from underwater welding, inspection, etc.
To become a deep sea diver, diving equipment needs to be purchase. Enrolling in a good diving school program is also recommended forÊbecoming a deep sea diver.
You have to use a feymail.

Scuba Diving International (SDI) is a SCUBA training and certification agency. It is the recreational arm of Technical Diving International, the world's largest technical diver training organization.SDI is the only diver training agency that requires students to have access to a modern dive computer on all dives during training from the very start. SDI is also unique amongst recreational diver training organisations in that it recognises solo diving as part of recreational diving, and offers a special training course relating to it.Every other major recreational diver training organisation mandates diving with a "buddy" at all times. SDI is a member of The World Recreational Scuba Training Council.

Yes, Just continue doing what you do, and follow the path to be a professional diver.
I am a scuba diver. To start SCUBA, you must pass training. Many training centers are available in many areas.
As a beginning diver, you will be certified in an open water course. Upon completion, the diver is cleared to go down 60 ft. It is advisable to get more training such as a deep diver certification if you wish to go farther. The recreational limit is 130 ft. with proper training. Personally, I like 30 ft. depth in the Caribbean waters.
