Becoming a veterinarian is a challenging job, the odds of getting into Med school are not high, and it requires a lot of education, think carefully before becoming a vet. But if you want to become a vet this is the education you'll need. Pretty much any bachelor degree is fine, science is preferred and especially animal sciences, if the university you attend offers it. You can do an additional two years to earn a master's degree, but it is not necessary. Scoring high is extremely important only the best are excepted into med school. To get into Med school you need to take an MCAT, it is also extremely important you score well on this test, it's the entrance test to Med school. IF you are excepted, congrats! Med School takes 3-4 years depending on the program and a 3 year residency, good luck.
