Wasn't there a great kind of "soldier riot" that took place in Sydney, that was suppressed by the war censors? I've seen the photos. Heaven forbid there be any publicity, during a war, about "allies" not getting along!
You can't because you are not Australian, and Australian soldiers don't like to dehumanise people so you wouldn't like it
The Australian soldiers considered them to be extremely formidable soldiers until they realized with the allies they could be defeated. The Australian prisoners thought they were evil, cruel and monstrous people with the atrocities, cruelties and horrible care they gave to them and the American and the Brits. They were helpful in the War Crimes Trials to get the Japanese convicted.
Because they were so Fuzzy Wuzzy people and they wanted to help the Australian people.
Some people think that Benedict Arnold is important because he was a traitor in the American Revolutionary War. He was first a great general for the American soldiers but then things all of sudden changed and he went over to be a British Soldier because he thought that the American soldiers would lose against the British. But turns out that he was wrong about that because the American soldiers won the American Revolutionary War between American soldiers and British soldiers. ~Thank You~
This is called conscription. The American slang word for it is "the draft".
Both a Democracy, both a Government, People vote
Quite impressively during WW2 Australia with just a population of 7 million people raised an army of 1.2 million soldiers.
Many people believe that the War of the Roses had a very minimal effect on the ordinary people. The battle mostly involved soldiers and did not include average civilians.
It did not affect common people. It had an effect on soldiers that would encounter one in battle.
American Express in Australia. The currency is the AUD not the dollar. Amex Australia is American Express Australian division serving Australian people. Just simply go down under and the card works same as American
It gives people hope and reminds the soldiers who and what they're fighting for... AMERICA
It underminded public trust in American leaders.
