∙ 11y agoThe European Union is a supranational organization comprising of most of Western Europe, whose current enlargement agenda has been focusing on Eastern Europe, primarily the Balkans. Since it is a supranational organization, the EU has its own economy and political system, meaning it acts somewhat like a country. The EU greatly impacts the overall economy of Europe and is the leader in European politics and relations worldwide.
