What effect will a quart too much of engine oil have on a 2003 Toyota Camry with a 2az-fe 4 cylinder engine?

I've gotten conflicting info from different mechanics about too much oil. One said no problem, the engine will just "throw off" excess oil and that I need an extra quart if I change the oil filter. The other said that it would cause higher oil pressure and eventually break down the seals.
