The same as if they hit the Earth, however it must be noted that the gravity on Mars is not so strong as Earth's, plus the air is a lot thinner.
So perhaps bigger craters because there is less atmosphere around to burn up the meteor before it turns into a meteorite.
Mars isn't cute enough
Mars has craters because the atmosphere is too thin for meteors to burn up in, (as most do before they hit the earth). There are also craters on Mars, because there is almost no erosion on Mars, as there is on earth to cover up the evidence of impact.
Craters were probably caused by meteors that hit the moon. Craters can also be made by non-active volcanoes
Millions of them. Of course, most meteors are the size of grains of rice or smaller. How many BIG meteors have hit Texas? Impossible to know.
when meteors hit it
when meteors hit it
it is approximately 10,000-15,000 meteors hit earth every year
yes they do that is why there is craters
meteors hit them
meteorites are rocks that hit the earth meteors have not
Jupiter gets hit ALOT
because with out it meteors would hit Earth because the mesosphere kills the meteors.
