Positive: Got money from other countries for damage development

Negative: Jobs are lost so no money is coming as tax, Spend more money on cleaning up, Building lost (e.g Haiti earthquake)

Well the people then had to find somewhere new to live, they've lost all their possessions so they would be quite poor. Basically the people would not be very happy chappies!
