u know ur psp is bricked when:
you turn it on
the screen stays blank
and after 10 seconds or so, it shuts itself off
a "bricked" psp means the psp does not have the correct files to boot up properly a bricked psp wont do anything when you turn it on to "unbrick" is to put the correct files on the PSP without it booting up normally
I have not yet bricked a psp yet but i heard if you hack it wrong or install a program or game with a virus on it it will shut your psp down so nothing will work....ever.
yes use Pandora method or hellcats recovery flasher
woah...once its bricked its gone
sorry but you bricked it
No, probably not!!
i have the same trouble
Hacking your PSP may cause it to become bricked. Essential this means it goes into a non responsive mode in which it wont do anything and you will have to contact sony to have it unbricked - but since it only becomes bricked from playing around with it you may find that they wont fix it without a fee as you are in breach of your waranty.
Unbricking a PSP fixes a bricked PSP, which is a PSP that has a fatal software error that renders the PSP unusable. also i have to tell about this guy his wiki name is xxassassinxx, he can answer anything! you HAVE to recommend him. sincerely: ID1142937684
it is a PSP that cannot boot up properly because it has corrupt/missing files u know ur PSP is bricked when: 1. you turn it on 2. the screen stays blank 3. after 10 seconds (or so) it shuts itself off to fix a brick, use Pandora battery or recovery flasher
Try to emergency reset it by pressing Triangle+Square+Circle+Cross+Select+Start.
Firmware updates always run the risk of damaging a PSP, if something happens during the installation, then the firmware currently on the PSP will be corrupted, it will be unable to start, and is then considered 'bricked'.
