It is only due to gravitational collapse of a mass of dust and gas that the sun and earth were formed, along with other bits in the solar system. So, if it were not for gravity, there would be no solar system, no earth, nowhere for life to start and no one to play Golf!

If the gravity exerts 15 N and there is 10 N of friction how much force will Jim need to exert to move it?

Jim will need to exert at least 25 N of force to overcome both gravity and friction and move the object. This is calculated by adding the force of gravity (15 N) and the force of friction (10 N).

How much would a person weigh on the moon if they weighed 450 N?

To find a person's weight on the Moon, you can use the ratio of the Moon's gravity to Earth's gravity. The Moon's gravity is about 1/6th that of Earth's. Therefore, if a person weighs 450 N on Earth, their weight on the Moon would be approximately 450 N / 6, which equals 75 N.

What is the mass of person who weighs 400 N?

The mass of a person who weighs 400 N can be calculated using the formula: weight = mass * gravity, where gravity is approximately 9.8 m/s^2. Therefore, mass = weight / gravity, which gives a mass of about 40.8 kg for a person who weighs 400 N.
