I suppose that there isn't really one straight answer to this question. One may say that it depends on ones point of view. there are various different ways to come by power. these may include control of resources. Also it is a rather good thing if whoever else has some power respects or fears you. The thing about power is getting power is rather easy. Keeping it for any length of time is another story so to speak. If one gets power it may be be a good idea to get rid of the competition for the power one has.
