It could be a clogged fuel filter. It is located in the rear just in front of the gas tank.

This could be due to a lot of things. It's good that your starter and alternator are working OK. That eliminates a couple of issues. For a car to start/run, there are 4 things required. Fuel, spark, air and compression. Is it getting fuel? Is it getting spark? Is it getting air (clean air filter)? Do you have a blown head gasket (no compression)? Pick up a Haynes or Chilton manual for the car and go through the troubleshooting section.
