chemical to thermal
Electrical, Thermal, and Sound Energy.
answer the question please?
radiation
If thermal energy must be added to a chemical reaction for the reaction to take place the reaction is endothermic.
Chemical energy> Thermal(Heat) energy Heat energy> Rotating mechanical energy
yes. the reactions that take place in our body, such as respiration, generate heat
Chemical energy changes into thermal energy and light energy.
yes
Chemical energy released by burning the fuel with oxygen produces thermal energy, which is transferred to water/steam as thermal energy, which then produces mechanical energy in the turbine. This drives the generator to produce electrical energy.
The thermal energy released when you strike a match comes from chemical energy of the substances that make up the match head. These substances go through a chemical reaction to give different new substances (products) with less energy (considered at the initial temperature), and thermal energy that flows to the surroundings (heat) at a lower temperature.
yes both require the use of matter. conduction is basically passing heat from one particle to the next. convertion is heating a cold fluid and the hot particles move, allowing more cold particles to take their place and be heated. Hot air from a radiator raises, cold air moves in to take its place and is heated etc.
