The battery changes chemical energy originally stored in the battery to kinetic energy. This spins the propellors of the car, which generates kinetic energy in the air, which then moves the car forward.

Chemical to electrical in the battery, then electrical to magnetic in the motor, which magnetic is really still electrical, magnetic to torque and RPM in the motor, which is then used to leverage friction and create inertia in the moving toy (kinetic energy) and if it goes up an incline, also potential energy. Most toys also have lights of some sort, and the motor and gears get a little warm, so photons and infrared are also created from the initial chemical energy.
