any size Chevy engine you want to put in it will fit, you just have to change motor mounts.
a 84 camaro z28 would have a v8 450 hp engine.
if you have an 84 z28 camaro it has a 305 or a 305 h.o. 5.0L
190 hp
Hi, visit www.thirdgen.org/cd_oct_1984_iroc_camaro_z28. Details of speed etc for 84 camaro. should not differ much. My 84 z28 with a 305HO topped at 136, and my 91 rs with a tbi 305 topped at 131. Both had a 5spd.
I don't know thats way I ask
I had that problem in my 84 and it turned out to be the cable itself
They're the same motor
It came with a 305 HO motor. I have one.
Most likely your wires are crossed.
You may have to drill a couple of holes but it should fitDon't try it your self unless you know something about body work
try autozone.com, or go to your local library, they have alot of car manuals and diagrams, you can't check out the book but you can zerox the diagrams you need! hope this helps! if you can't find any, I have 84 camaro z28 wiring diagrams for my car at home , I could possibly send you copies if you like by mail (I don't have a scanner). Let me know
there isn't one, the 305 high output is a carbureted engine and it has a mechanical fuel pump, no electricals involved, i know this cuz i own an 84 z28 H.O., the TPI, and multi port v6's engines had electronic fuel injection
