He never grabbed her hand to stop her going to Naruto in any of the Episodes as far as I can remember. However he did stop her from raising her hand and informing the Jonin's about Sasuke's curse mark by grabbing it and pulling it back down.
This was in episode 37 or 38. I couldn't tell you without watching them first.
