I believe it was used two times. The first time Prue used it in the episode The Truth Is Out There...And it Hurts, to see if Andy would accept her being a witch. The word "charmed" has its origins in witchcraft. It describes a person who is under the influence of a spell. It is usually used to describe a good spell, as opposed to being hexed by a bad spell. Its use in modern times stems from this origin, describing someone who is positively drawn to someone else, as if by a charm. Also, it is commonly used to describe someone who has unusual good luck, as if living a charmed life.
You can watch clips of 'Charmed' on Youtube which I would recommend but there are numerous websites where you can watch charmed. http://www.watch-charmed-online.com is also a very good site to use.
