You will need a medium size aquarium with a filter and some food.
If you only want to keep a couple of gold fish, a 30ltr tank with filter pump would be suitable. You will also need aquasafe for goldfish to treat water, gravel, either an artificial or real plant (optional). If you want to put an orniment inside, you can as it makes it more interesting, but you can decorate as little or as much as you like (If its for a child, it makes it fun). Not forgetting food.
