Essential or non-essential nutrients? One could say that they are both beneficial to your health. Stuff like dietary fiber (a non-essential nutrient) is used to help remove toxic items from the human body, while carbohydrates are needed for energy.
Essential nutrients for enzymes include calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium.
Macronutrients make up the bulk of what we eat, they are the energy-giving component of what we eat, like the proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Micronutrients are the components of what we eat that are essential to good health. Examples, are vitamins and minerals.
