i have blue eyes black hair and medium tanned skin my dads the same and his Irish and all his family have the same he said that im black Irish that's the looks for the black Irish look it up if your not sure but that's the unusual look of black Irish

I have known some women of German ethnic background who have also had black hair & blue eyes, as well as some Irish women. All beautiful by the way.

I only know what my father told me before he passed. I too have the same features, Olive colored skin, dark blue eyes, dark hair. I've been told by co-workers who don't know me well that my "look" is intimidating. My ex always called my looks the dark blue bomber look, Others compared me to Tom Cruise but I don't see it. But one thing I do know is its always been an ongoing topic all my life. Thus why I asked my dad. He told me... Only about 9% of the worlds population have blue eyes, Less have the dark features with blue eyes. So... Welcome to the world of being very unique. He said our ethnic origin is Black Irish. A highly debated ethnicity. More specifically he said we are Spanish Irish. He said when the Spanish raided Ireland they killed the men and kept the women. And black Irish was created. Ireland disputes this. And there were numerous invasions. But just like Amerasians, one thing for sure is many reject and will not accept the existence of Black Irish. We do know, blue eyes came from Europe, mostly Scandinavia. And dark olive skin, Spaniards. So it's most likely genetics of a combination of time and events, rather than from a single invasion or migration. But we are what we are, and it both intregues and intimidates others. But that one lucky special person who captures your heart will always be proud to have you as their armpiece. We are what we are. Be proud of who you are rather than why you are what you are. We are rare, few, and very unique. Maybe that gives you a track to research.
