Pearl Harbor. December 7, 1941. "A day that will live in infamy"
Just wanted to point out that America wasn't attacked on Dec. 7, 1941...The Territory of Hawaii was attacked. Hawaii, an independent monarchy, became a territory of the US, after illegally been taken by force by the United States in an act of aggression, by imprisoning our Queen in 1898. For Native Hawaiians, both dates "will live in infamy".

"A date which will live in infamy" was a quote by President Franklin D Roosevelt on his address to Congress on December 8th, 1941 - he was of course referring to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii the day before.
