They saw little "pathways" in which they think there might once have been a river. The pathways were dry and contained nothing, but the Scientists are sticking to their new discovery.
Themars pathfinder was invented by NASA to find more celestial objects in outer space. The mars pathfindercollects samples and scientists examine the samples and later on share it with us.
Yes, the Phoneix mission in 2008 exposed water ice when it dug a trench. The vast majority of ice on Mars is frozen carbon dioxide, but we now know that there are sheets of water ice km thick at both the north and south polar caps.
NASA's twin robot geologists, the Mars Exploration Rovers, launched toward Mars on June 10 and July 7, 2003, to find answers to the questions about water on Mars. They landed on Mars January 3 and January 24 PST, 2004.
If you can find a way to resist the pressure and high temperature , in addition to a constant source of water and food , life on Mars will be the same as life on Earth.
While we still hope to find evidence of life, it's possible that life on Mars just never got started. Areologists (they're like geologists, but they study Mars rather than Earth) believe SOME of the necessary life conditions (liquid water, organic molecules, a certain density of atmosphere) existed in Mars' past but they can't actually say that EVERYTHING was on hand, mainly because nobody's sure exactly what everything is. If there was life, it probably stayed very primitive (after all, the first couple of billion years on Earth were not very progressive, evolution-wise) and died off as the planet's weak gravity let atmosphere and water vapor escape into space. A tantalizing possibility remains that at some future time, we can BRING life to Mars (or Mars to life) by an as yet non-existent process called "terraforming."
No. While there is evidence of liquid water beneath the surface there are no oceans on Mars.

We all know humans need water to survive. If we find water on Mars, astronauts don't have to carry all those tons of water to the planet, and they can stay on Mars longer to do research.
If we find any, and there's no evidence thus far to indicate there are worms on Mars, we'll look into the situation and find out. You can bet on it!
Yes.
There is no water on mars or sun light and heat

The duration of going from the Earth to Mars depends upon the kind of spacecraft that the object is boarding. But as previous experience has always been taken as the benchmark to decide the duration of anything, we can take the example the Mars Pathfinder. The Mars Pathfinder was launched in the year 1996 on December fourth and it reached to the planet mars in the year 1997 on July fourth. So according to this calculation you can say that it takes seven months if you want to go to the planet mars from the planet earth. That mission was considered as a benchmark in the history of the discoveries about mars and it consist of a rover called Sojourner who landed on the surface of the planet and moved around to find the truth about the planet. There is very little water on Mars, but some can be found frozen at its North Pole.
I expected there to be life on Mars because I believed that there was frozen water on it, and with water comes life. -Starrynight98
Science have tried to find life on Mars. As of yet, 2010, this search have provided no evidence of life. It can not yet be dismissed, but there is very little chance of this.
