At the beginning of the movie Forest Gump is running away from some bullies and the girl he likes, Jenny, is calling after him "Run Forest Run" and that's the first time it's used. Forest Gump was a really fast runner and later in the movie, when he goes to college, he joins the football team and whenever he would get the football the people would just shout "Run Forest Run!"
