Temperature and Precipitation are the main things that affect the climate of an area
For example: an area with high temperatures and low precipitation will be a hot desert such as the Saharah Desert or the Sonoran Desert.
An area with high temperatures and high precipitation where it rains almost every day may form a tropical rainforest such as the Anazon Basin or Sumatran rainforest. Water has a higher heart capacity and the humid air blocks out some of the harmful rays of the sun so rainforests are much cooler than hot deserts during the day. In a rainforest the trees would block out most of the sunlight from reaching the ground so vines would grow on trees to reach sunlight and most of the variety of species would live in the canopy. Only plants adapted to low sunlight such as ferns or mosses and mushrooms can grow in a rainforest floor.
An area with freezing temperatures and low precipitation may form a tundrae like the Queen Elizabeth Islands or the very north of Siberia or if its cold enough to preserve its snow it may form am ice sheet like Antarctica. Antarctica is one of the driest places in the world with very low precipitation because it is so cold that none of the snow evaporates to form into bigger clouds that can give precipitation and the Karabatic winds blow the moisture and clouds from the Southern Oceans away from Antarctica.
If the area has freezing temperatures and high precipitation it may form a taiga forest much like Scandinavia, Taiga forests in Canada, or even Alaska. If the temperature is cool but has high precipitation where it may rain almost every time then it may form a temperate rainforest like the Hoh Forest in Washington state where wet moss would grow all over in trees and it will look like a cloud forest. It is so wet that its possible to find a tree octopuse.

Yes, the sun provides basically all energy for the climate system. Its uneven distribution drives much of what is responsible for what we call climate.

The geographic factor that most influences North Korea's climate is its latitude. North Korea is located in the temperate zone and experiences distinct four seasons due to its position in the northern hemisphere. This latitude contributes to cold winters and hot, humid summers in North Korea.
