One can practice the saxophone quietly by using a mute or practicing with a practice saxophone that produces less sound. Additionally, practicing in a room with good sound insulation or using headphones can help reduce noise levels.
I play clarinet, saxophone, and flute, and I would definitely say that saxophone is the easiest of all three. It takes a good amount of air and muscle support around the mouth to get a good sound, but in the end it is the most free-blowing woodwind and requires the least amount of control to at least get a decent sound.
This is my opinion. I think that the saxophone is a very complicated instrument. I wouldn't recommend it to ppl who want a soothing instrument. Saxophone has a more of a blaring sound. But some people like it. I personally like the flute better. Its sound is sooo much more soothing and relaxing.
you can"t
Yamaha YAS -26 is a very good type of sax it makes a high sound
the orchestra had a saxophone player, that was really good! :)
it doesn't matter what saxophone it is what matters is how you play it:]
A good size saxophone for a little girl is typically an alto saxophone. It is lighter and more manageable than larger saxophones, making it easier for younger players to handle. Generally, alto saxophones are suitable for children aged around 9 and older, but it's important to consider the child's height and strength. For younger children, a soprano saxophone might also be a viable option, but the alto is more common for beginner players.
yes,got one a few years ago never had to repair it yet.
well, i have had mine since 5th grade, and it was used. it still plays pretty good and i really like it. its all a matter of personal preference, but if it helps, i think they're good to start out on.

I used to play an alto saxophone in high school for our pep band. Learning how to play the saxophone taught me patience, perserverance and a love of making my own music. It probably also taught my parents tolerance and patience too as they had to listen to my squaks and bleeps until I got good enough to make actual notes with it :)
