it depends on what parents you have.....female or male
yes they are prettier than blue birds
Most commonly, yes.
That is a matter of opinion, so there is no correct answer. I may feel one is prettier than the other, but you may think the other is prettier. What do you think?Hope this helps, please give me a trust point? Thanks :)
NO
Both birds have similar plumage, but the male weighs more than the female.
In Birds of prey (raptors), the female is ALWAYS bigger on average. Usually by about a third.
The female is larger than the male in most birds of prey. This helps when hunting because the male being smaller is faster and more agile in flight. The female while slower can catch larger prey.
Boys have more colors than girls....THE PRETTIER ONE
Generally yes, although it depends on the breed. Female love birds are usually larger than the males.
It's the male which has the green head. Female birds are less colourful than their male counterparts.
Usually the female is the one responsible for caring for the young. As this requires a lot of energy the larger body is in order. If all the male is responsible for is providing sperm then they can be quite small as the production of sperm is not energy intensive. The males of the angler fish live as parasitic attachments to the female. All they do is provide sperm (do not even feed themselves) and are very small. Male spiders have no function after they have inseminated a female and are very small, often eaten by the female after the deed is done. The same is true of the Praying Mantis. If it is the male that is responsible for caring for the young, which rarely happens, then it is the male that is the larger of the species. The mid-wife toad has this distinction. If the males compete with each other for females then they can be much larger. Cattle, Bison, Seals, elephants, etc all follow this scheme.
