Acid-loving and slow-release describe the type of fertilizer that Schillings holly needs. The woody plant in question (Ilex vomitoria 'Schillings') reacts well to compost or cow manure with organic peat moss or top soil at the time of planting. Fall, spring or summer fertilizer treatments will need to be wary of overapplications through a prior soil analysis and will respond well to compost, pine bark mulch or 10-10-10 fertilizer.
Schillings was created in 1984.
Schillings's motto is 'Protecting rights and reputation'.

Go to your local home store and pick up a product which is called Holly Tone. The spread rate is on the back. This is the best product that I have found for any everygreen shrub.

Moist, acidic, High in nitrogen. I recomend using Holly Tone for fertilizer and Mushroom compost for planting.
Plant take in Carbon from the air, and they get all they need therefore it does not need to be in the fertilizer.
