you need to study a lot of math(algebra,geometry,calculus,trigonometry etc) and science(biology,chemistry,organic chemistry,microbiology). I would study English too. When you are a dr. you want to have good writing skills.
You would need to be studying appropriate subjects for what you intend to study in Trinity College Dublin. You would also need to do well in the subjects you are doing in high school to give you a better chance of being accepted into Trinity College Dublin. Check out what subjects you are interested in doing and what they would require for you to be accepted into their courses. It is an important university, so there is a high demand for a lot of their courses.

The subject you are taking would determine the syllabus you would need to study. Each is different though there are some overlapping areas depending on the subjects.
Physics would probably be the most obvious choice.
We support government and if we know what government needs to be doing when we study law, we can say yes or no with reasons to support. Also if we know what law is and how government goes with it when its time to vote, you know who best would represent you as a U.S Citizen. As the U.S Constitution states, "We The People...."
Astrophysics would be a good subject to study, as well as cosmology.
