This has long been controversial. In ther English animated (Supermarionatiion) sci fi series (Thunderbirds) on occasional episodes the villain (The Hood) something of an Odd-Job Oriental bad guy would win or get away with a serious crime or terrorist act-the Thunderbirds were a Rescue squad, so that sort of thing could happen. as you mentioned Science Fiction. in non-sci fi I can think of one(perfect) if non violent crime , taht being a museum heist, masterminded by (Idle-rich ) businessman type who is romancing the detective assigned to the case-The Thomas Crown affair (remake) with Renee Russo. The Police are shown as more or less duty-bound (dudley do-right) types and the bad guys are free-swingers. not a good role model for kids, well it was rated R.

This is a game without a real name. Basically, Three or four are the "bad guys" and start in a safe haven. Everyone else runs and hides. One "bad guy" is a spy who tells the "good guys" where the safe haven is. The job of the "good guys" is to find the safe haven and stay there because they cannot be caught there. If they are not in there the "bad guys" can catch them and send them to jail. Only way out of jail is to be tagged by a team mate. Game continues until either all the good guys are in jail (and the bad guys win) or they all make it to the safe haven (and the good guys win). The best way to play this game is in the dark.
