www . motorcraft . com ( no spaces - one of Ford's websites ) shows the firing order for the 1988 ( and each year ) Ford Festiva - 1.3 L - 4 cylinder as ( 1 - 4 - 3 - 2 ) but , My large Chilton repair manual for a variety of vehicles , about . com , autozone . com , and another website each has ( 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 ) as the firing order They are in agreement that the distributor rotor turns counterclockwise and that the # 1 cylinder faces the right side of the Festiva .
According to my Chilton's book : The spark plug firing order for the 1.3 liter / 81 cubic inch four cylinder engine in a 1990 Ford Festiva is : ( 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 ) The distributor rotor turns COUNTERCLOCKWISE
For a 1988 Ford Festiva , 1.3 liter / 81 cubic inch four cylinder engine : ( 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 ) The distributor rotor turns COUNTERCLOCKWISE ( according to my Chilton's book , about.com , autozone.com , and ford forums )
1 - 3 - 4 - 2 is the firing order The distributor rotor turns COUNTERCLOCKWISE The # 1 position on the distributor cap faces TOWARDS the engine The engine cylinders / spark plug locations are numbered : 1-----2-----3-----4 front of Ford Festiva ( according to my Chilton book / about.com / autozone.com / and Ford forums ) ( I checked a few places because motorcraft.com showed 1 - 4 - 3 - 2 as the firing order and it didn't seem right so I figured it must be a typing error )
1-3-4-2
What is the CID of the engine? Depending on if it is an inline six cylinder or V-8 to know how to answer this question correctly
According to my Chilton's Auto Repair Manual : For a 1988 Ford Festiva ( 1.3 liter / 81 cubic inch four cylinder engine ) The firing order is ( 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 )
Firing order on a 350 Chevrolet is 18436572
A Chrysler 3.3L does not have a distributor. The firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6.
14-25-36
usually if u search the engine size (example my truck has a 300 in it which is a inline6 4.9l in a f150) it will come up with the firing order... just use google or somethn :)
A DISTRIBUTOR IS A PART ON A CAR ENGINE USED TO SYNCRONIZE THE ENGINES FIRING ORDER.
simply put, 1-3-4-2 ...{ASMDEMON}
