If you have a beta fish, you CAN put it in a tank with another fish IF that fish does NOT have flowing fins or tails, such as a goldfish OR DO NOT put it with a fish that's not social and that attacks other fish so you CAN put a beta fish with another fish if it's not very pretty so it doesn't look like a beta and if the other fish isn't a fighter.
Provided the tank is large enough (1 inch of fish needs 1 gal water) almost any peaceful species of tropical fish can be kept with a male Betta. Male Bettas only fight with other male Bettas.
You can add snails, dwarf frogs, tetras, really anything small that isn't really colorful and big.
Sword tails and neon tetras
Male beta fish are very territorial. Two male beta fish cannot live in the same tank or they will fight. Male betas make bubble nests to mark their territory.
If there is a male and female beta fish, the male probably ate them, and those 2 unlucky babies were definitely male. (male beta fish will kill other fish.)
No becaUSE THE MALE BETA FISH WILL FIGHT TO DEATH.
I suppose it is possible. Beta are very territorial fish.
I have a female and a male beta fish,If you put them togethere and the male doent chase the female then they like being togethere. If the male beta fish chases the female beta fish it mines that the male beta fish wants to kill the female by chacing her allover that is what happened to my female beta fish,so i had to go to petco and buy another bowl so they male and the female are not togethere.Ps:Sorry for my grammer it bad lol hope that helped you.
Beta fish do NOT like other fish, they may try to kill the other fish or get seriously injured by the other fish.So probably not.
Beta fish don't get along with other fishes, they will attack any fish that they see as a threat. If you buy a female and a male beta DO NOT put them together.
The female beta fish is usually plain in color, while the male is typically very colorful.
Quite possibly. My female beta ate my male beta, so it wouldn't be that weird if a zebra fish did. Another Answer: Zebra fish are "fin nippers" and while they can be kept in community tanks, they are best kept in groups of 3 or more. Beta fish shouldn't be kept in a community tank.
Yes, a few can. Beta fish definitely can.
the female beta fish is "plainer" than the male as where the male is a darker shade near the face and lighter shade near the tail.
Male beta fish cant live together or they'll pretty much kill each other a boy and a girl can live together though. you can get a tank separator for them though and they'll usually leave each other alone.
