We will fly a VFR flight heading 245 - what is a legal cruising altitude?
Not anymore. The last flight from Alaska to Russia occurred in1998.
Due to the winds that the aircraft hits flying west to east, in general winds travel east to west, so when a plane flys away from the uk it is heading against the wind. I fly to Florida a lot and always find the flight to take an hour less heading back to the uk.
You fly North-West for 1 half then South-West for 1 half.
Flights from London to New Zealand will either fly west stopping over in Los Angeles or they will fly east towards Singapore and then on to New Zealand. If you are flying west - the flight will turn north after leaving London, heading towards Iceland and Greenland and then southwest into Canada after crossing the Atlantic, and then into the USA. Once the plane leaves Los Angeles, the flight will head southwest over the Pacific Ocean into New Zealand. If you are heading East, you will fly northeast out of London, crossing northern Europe and much of Russia and then southeast over China before reaching Singapore, then from there the plane will fly over Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and across Australia to New Zealand.
The Harrier can't fly supersonic in level flight or fly long distances.
You wouldn't fly straight west to get from Moscow to San Francisco (for one thing, San Francisco is considerably further south than Moscow). However, rather than flying southwest, it's shorter to fly just slightly west of due north (initial heading 344 degrees), which takes you across Russia, Finland, Norway, Greenland, Canada and the United States.
flight time is the amount of time it takes to fly to a fish king ritual
You must reach Level 60 in order to fly a mount. However, if you are a Druid, you learn flight form at Level 58. At Level 60 you will get an automatic quest instructing you on where to go to learn how to fly.
The winds. Winds in North America normally flow from west to east. The flight from Boston will have a "headwind" which it must fly against, meaning a slower speed. The flight from Seattle will have a "tailwind" that will push the plane faster heading east to Boston. This results in a difference in flight times.
FL 410 (flight level 41,000 feet) means it can fly up to 41,000 feet
If you are on your first character, level 77 and you have to pay 1000g. If you are on an alt character, and have an 80, you can learn to fly as low as 68 with the tome of cold weather flight.
