There are a few forbidden foods for Hindus:
Some sects of Hinduism (Vaishnavism) encourage vegetarianism, whereas others eat meat.
hindus eat meat and they eat pork and what got meat in their food
I'm pretty sure they can! The only thing Hindus don't eat for religious reasons in cow products and many are vegetarian.
they SHOULDN'T eat cow because they consider it holy. aka a GOD but they could eat it if they wanted to. many Indians who come to america eat burgers because they just cant resist hahah
Some Hindus are vegetarians and do not eat burgers that have meat in it. Some are non-vegetarians and eat burgers that have meat. And some Hindus are so orthodox that they don't even eat bakery items and food that is prepared outside their home or temples. Especially Iyengars who have had Samasrayanam eat only the food that is the remnants of food offered to Sriman NArAyanA.
kosher food is a Jewish concept. However, Hindus (and anyone) who eat STRICT vegetarian (the food can't even touch utensils that have touched meat), are by definition also eating kosher food.
Usually during Diwali Hindus eat their traditional food. Sometimes during makarsankranti or holi, they also eat their tradiTional food. Rarely they also cook traditional food during other minor festivals as well.
In Hinduism eating beef is a strict no no. Some Hindus are allowed to eat meat but not all are.
Hindus follow great tradition since ages . Hindus eat sweets on Festivals and special occasions . As food is a part of culture , Hindus eat sweets because they are tasty and represent happy moments .

Hindus can eat a variety of food, however, meat is kind of restricted. Vegetables are always better. All kinds of vegetables are fine! :) Meat is not totally banned, they still eat chicken or lamb. Totally avoid beef, and pork! Oh, and obviously things like rice, chappattis etc. Wheat stuff..... (BTW: I know these things, because I am an Indian)
Hindus are vegetarians.
