I just traveled from Utah to Atlanta Nov 2008, packed my own lunch and breezed through securities with no problem. I took a sandwich, tossed salad, chips and a small container of salsa in my purse. I alsotook a snickers bar and a few pieces of licorice in a ziplock bag . The sandwich was in a ziplock bag, the chips and salad were in small plastic containers, so they would not get crushed. I included a couple of Wendys salad dressing packets and plastic forks, napkin, s and p for my salad. I put the salsa in a small 2 oz. round plastic container I purchased from the local deli. Airplane food is gross and very costly! It was great to take my own wonderful food with me and eat it at my convenience. The only thing that airport security is concerned about is liquid over 3 oz. So you will have to purchase water or juice past the security station at the vendors before entering the plane. Happy Travels!
Yes, but the food has to be wrapped or unopened. You cannot take any liquids, though.
You can bring snack foods like apples to pretzels. I have been on a plane and they are not worried about bad snacks. Thanks
foods like dry say, chocolate, strawberry, cashunut, almound etc
Yes, just not beverages. yeah but the food has to be under the security weight limit, though.
No
Yes
No, but you will have to take your laptop out of the case when you go through security.
An empty container can be checked through airport security. There are no restrictions on empty containers, however, if something seems suspicious, you will not be allowed to take it through security.
No, you can't take sandwiches through airport security. They would have to be in your checked baggage. You can, however, buy sandwiches once you've gone through security at most airports.
Yes, if you bought it within the secure area of the airport or if it went through the carry-on security check without any problems
Yes......As Long As It Isnt A Bomb....:L
You can take mini bottles of alcohol (3 oz. or less) through airport security. The alcohol must be less than 140 proof.
it would normally be sent to the hold as its not considered hand luggage
Check with the airlines you are flying, and in the US with TSA.
Yes, you can fly with food, but there are restrictions. You can take food in your checked baggage, but food you take on the plane with you must be purchased in the airport after you have gone through checkpoint.
You should be able to take a dried alligator head through US airport security. You should call ahead to make sure of the airlines requirements for carry-on luggage.
