It must first be understood that a Mosque is a Place of Worship, and not exactly a place one could eat food. However, the are specified times that one is allowed to eat in a Mosque. Like during the Holy Month of Ramadaan, it is preferable for worshippers to congregate at a Mosque before Sunset. Each one will bring their own food parcel, which will be shared amongst one another approximately 3 minutes after Sunset, at the Call to Prayer (Athaan). Some Mosques also provide food parcels for the under-priveledged communities. It is during this time that one really experiences the True Spirit of Islam.
