in the wild, they like jellyfish. as pets, im not quite sure. ask ur pet store guy/gal.
human food probably tastes better - how would you like to eat that dried up junk
Turtle food. Like Reptomin Floating Food Sticks. They come in a tall green can with a yellow lid, and are available at most pet supply stores (like Petco).
A turtle's poo is circular in shape, like a small cylinder, and can sometimes be quite long and stringy like a worm, depending on the consistency of the food that the turtle has consumed.

No, a painted baby turtle is only the size of a quarter as hatching, the size of the turtle has really no reference to size! Size if composed of age and food supply. a painted turtle is like a red eared turtle which can get up to 8-10" in size depending on the food / environment they are raised in
it depends on how long you've had it cause if its only been a couple of days than that means its just getting used to its tank and that is why its not eating or you could be giving it food that it doesn't like or isn't turtle food. my turtle did the same thing for about a week and a half then started eating and don't forget to try to give it a few vegetables to.
you feed them, maybe live fish, turtle and teripin pelets/food. They also like live blood worms.
