What foods are bad to eat while pregnant?
Hotdogs, peanuts, some fish and seafood, alcohol, caffenaited drinks, pasta and bread should be eaten in moderation due to carbs/sugars. Becareful of sugar subsitutes.. Splenda is ok but others may not be. Check with your doctor
Pregnancy lowers your body's immune system, so you have to be extra careful during this time. While pregnant, it is not a good idea to eat any foods which are past their use-by or expiry date. Although these foods could still be alright under normal circumstances, it is always better to be safe than sorry and to be extra cautious while pregnant.
You can eat crab within moderation. Remember, sometimes women can get bad indigestion from rich or spicy foods so take it easy. a pregnant woman can eat seafood but she must be very careful about what seafoods she can eat because a lot of seafood contains mercury, which can be very harmful to the fetus. Just to play it safe, seek advice from your Doctor.
