Saskatchewan's largest food crop is in the cereal grains. Wheat, oats, barley, rye, animal feed grains and alfalfa, seed oils (such as for canola oil and flaxseeds ), peas/lentils/chickpeas, livestock (such as beef and dairy cattle, hogs, bison, poultry for their meat and for eggs, and lamb). Many other specialty crops are also grown.
