Foods don't prevent dehydration, liquids do. To prevent dyhydration drink plenty of water. But if a madman has locked you in a room with a fantastic buffet and no drinks, I would go for juicy foods like fruits.
Water and Gatorade are definitely the best, so anything else is not a good idea.

At the bulk food store I have seen many types of dehydrated fruits including peaches, apples, mango, and cantaloupe. And aren't raisins really just dehydrated grapes? ;)
Type B blood types should avoid foods with sunflower seeds or nuts. They should eat plenty of fish. They should avoid shellfish. Dairy food's are good for those with type B blood.
