It depends on what year you are asking about and what part.
The engine/transmission and all other drive components can be found in other large Ford cars of that era. But only the drive train is the same as other Fords. All the body panels, and interior parts are specific to the Thunderbird and are not interchangeable with any other Ford.
the '93 cougar can swap parts with any cougar between '89 and '96. Since you have a '93, I'm guessing it's an XR-7 (performance) model, so try to find other XR-7's. You can also interchange parts with the Ford Thunderbird of the same model years.
no, not the same.
I have the owner's guide for a 1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. The '87 and '88 were the same body style, so parts are interchangable. pg 190 of ur manual
no....the answer is no. sure you can all the 95s have the same trans would be a direct swap
My 1991 Mustang 5.0 LX came from the factory with ( 5W-30 ) I ASSUME your Ford Thunderbird would be the same
Possibly. I have a 1995 Cougar with the 4.8L V8 and have used various parts from a 96 Thunderbird. My understanding is that, at least from 94 to 97 the 4.8l v8 engines are the same for the cougar, t-bird, mustang, Lincoln mark VII... You can find a usergroup online for cougars and thunderbirds, they have alot of info!
cars are the same depending on very minor exceptions, so all parts should fit because 91' through 93' were nearly all the same til 94' even v6 and v8 trannys were the same in those three years.
ford thunderbird 1968 ---> 69
No they are not the same.
yes, it just depens on what parts your replaceing,dealer or auto store could help
same as the mustang 5.0
