Normally, DNA forms a right-handed double helix but it can also come in other forms.
The DNA molecule forms a double helix. The linear DNA chromosomes of eukaryotes form a highly supercoiled double helix.
DNA
RNA does, in contrast to DNA, form short double strand structures on itself, thereby forming so called stem and loop structures.

The DNA hellicoidal structure according to the Watson and Crick model.

All i know is that it forms a double helix
The DNA molecule forms a double helix. The linear DNA chromosomes of eukaryotes form a highly supercoiled double helix.
Both DNA and RNA can exist in the double helix form, but only DNA is completely stable as a double helix. The double helix RNA is usually only short "hairpin" sections folding back on itself, never the long essentially linear form of double helix DNA.
My DNA forms a double helix due to the hydrogen bonds present in it.
