When air containing water in gaseous form (any air with a relatively humidity greater than zero) rises, it cools and the water vapor condenses into liquid water in small "droplets" and forms a cloud. Or in short: a "cloud" is formed.

Clouds are formed when air rises and cools to a dew point and then condenses into small particles. Depending on the ambient temperature, these clouds can produce thunderstorms, rain, or even hail.

Do clouds form when water vapor in the atmosphere cools to its dew point?

A dew point is the amount of moisture in the air so as the air cools water condenses and form clouds.

Water vapor turns to water droplets causing it to rain.

What is the temperature below which gas condenses?

The boiling point of the liquid to which the gas condenses at the pressure under which the gas condenses.

Where did the clouds come from?

How are clouds formed? All air contains water, but near the ground it is usually in the form of an invisible gas called water vapor. When warm air rises, it expands and cools. Cool air can't hold as much water vapor as warm air, so some of the vapor condenses onto tiny pieces of dust that are floating in the air and forms a tiny droplet around each dust particle. When billions of these droplets come together they become a visible cloud.site to use:http://www.weatherwizkids.com/cloud.htm

What is the difference between convectional and relief rainfall?

convectional relief is formed with the formation of convectional currents. the surface of the earth is heated and the air above it aswell. the air mass expands and becomes lighter. but as the airmass rises it cools. it continues to rise till it reaches due point. condensation occurs, clouds are formed. previpitation results. cyclonic precipitation results when the leading edge of the warm air mass meets a cool air mass. the warm air mass rises above the cool air mass. it cools adiabatically. the moisture condenses, clouds are formed, precipitation results.
