Hermit crabs eat lots of kinds of veggies (and fruits), like:
Apples & applesauce
Carrots
Spinach
Lettuce & watercress (no iceberg lettuce)
Grapes
Blueberries
Strawberries
Bananas
Hermit crabs are scavengers and in the wild they will eat dead fish, fallen fruits like MANGOES(my hermies luv them!) and climb trees to eat bugs, so in captivity they can eat ALL fruits and veggies, SEA salted nuts, lean (not fatty) meats, all parts of the egg (yolk, white, & shell).
Stay away from human foods like Pizza, twinkies, an seasonings like in meat. also stay away from heavly salted foods unless it's sea salt
Lean meats meaning non fat, like turkey hamburger salmon and chicken, but remember make sure there Are not seasonings in it, and lightly cooked. They like all organic fruits and veggies execpt lemons and other acidic fruits. You can feed them tomatoes, carrot, mangoes kiwi ect... Mine also love SEA salted nuts. SEA salted.
