The fruit of patience (Sabra ka fal mitha hota hai)
The fruit of patience
It depends on the culture.
Japanese do not like very sweet things, so they would likely turn down a Red Haven Peach.
In that vein, the Red Havens are all but extinct (you can find them in central Ohio), because while being the best and sweetest-tasting fruit, grocers cannot transport them without bruising. Pawpaws fall into this "pit" as well.
Americans like very sweet, buttery things, but *very few* Americans like a durian. It is very sweet and much like a heavy, smooth custard, but it's smell makes Americans nearly lose their lunch. I tried it, but even after cutting it with heavy cream, it still was a bit much. Please note that you can buy durians in the US, but only in "real" Far Eastern grocery stores.
This is one of those 6 riddles is so very obvious once you hear the answer. Which fruit is sweet but still not available for sale in market? It is the fruit of patience.
