perhaps a dirty/old fuel pump, and/or dirty fuel injectors?
fuel pressure?
blocked fuel lines?
i have that problem to it has something to do with the gear shift censor
maybe it is a problem with you 1st gear being warped because when ur stopped u are in 1st gear but park is a different gear
This can be caused by the engine not getting enough fuel, or idling too low. It would be best to check with the fuel system and make sure all parts are functioning well.?æ
a dirty fuel filter can do that.
Could be: a clogged fuel or air filter a plugged catalytic converter
It could, or it could make it worse. There are a lot of factors in gear ratio selection.
A dirty fuel filter.Tune up time.
The engine needs fuel, compression and spark to run. You are missing one of those. If there were not any warnings then I would lean towards a fuel flow problem. Also could be an electrical problem with the battery or alternator.
There could be a few causes for a car to spit and sputter on acceleration. One common cause would be the engine not getting enough fuel, so it could be a problem in the fuel line, fuel filter, or fuel pump.
Quite possibly a vacuum leak, or problem with fuel flow. Vacuum leaks can be bad at idle and cause it to stall, a fuel problem would make it very difficult to move at all.
first check your fuses and fuel relays make your power to the pump. check the fuel reset swich. i good manual would be a good start..
the timing is off make sure that you timed it to piston #1 i have a 1991 wrangler that had the same problem when i rebuilt it.
