I dont think there is a particular fuse however if the light and beeping is coming on when it shouldnt be simply...
Unplug door switch by removing plastic cover by seatbelt from the inside.
( should be the cable that has rubber tubing around it, single black wire)
The copper spade connector needs insulating wrap it up securely with insulation tape so it doesnt touch the earth/metal of.the car.
The switch wont work for that side but it WILL stop the beeping!
Hope this helps.
The Door ajar light is not run by a specific fuse. If your 2003 Kia Spectra has a door light keep coming on, you will want to check the connections to make sure that all of the doors are completely closed.
Fix a "door ajar" on Chevy Impala 2003 . Still on doors closed.
On my 2002 sportage 2-door, the door ajar light stays on when the tailgate is not locked. with the key.
I had a problem with my door ajar switch staying on in a 98 EXPO and when I took it to the dealer they just sprayed W-D 40 in the locking mechanism for the door. I guess there is a senso in there that turns the door ajar light on and the w-d 40 makes it get contact.
either the light is switched off at the light unit or the earth where the switch locates at the door is poor
some how the tail light wire is touching the ajar wire
Possible faulty door switch.Try contact cleaner or light grade of lubricant on the switch. Push it i nby hand and see if door ajar light goes out.
a door in your car is not fully shut.
If the door is ajar and light stays on, spray some WD40 into the latch. The door switch is probably stuck. Spray all doors then open and close a few times.
Try spraying WD-40 on the door latch, the part that is on the door itself. The door ajar switch is located in with the latch. Had the same problem, door ajar light on, interior light stays on, and horns toots twice when you lock with remote, to signal door is not closed. Door was shut but truck didn't know it, WD40 fixed it.
wd40 in all door latches and strikers.
Just to the right of your headlight switch on your dash , is a gauge lighting dimmer wheel switch . Check to see if that has been rotated all the way up. If it has , that turns on the courtesy lights when the doors are closed If you also get a door ajar warning light in your gauge cluster , you probably have a sticking door ajar switch . The door ajar switches are inside the doors , on the backside of the latching mechanism .
