My owner's manual for my 1988 Grand Wagoneer has a diagram that shows the cigareete lighter fuse to be a 10 amp fuse located 1 tier up from the bottom of the fuse box on the left hand corner. It is apparently the same fuse as for the radio.
is there any fuse for cigarette lighter? is there any fuse for cigarette lighter for 1989 325i?
the fuse labeled as horn controls the cigarrette lighter
It is usually wired in with the radio or the courtesy/dome lights.
It is under the dash, near the knee bolster , close to the cigarette lighter.
No
Under the dash, below and slightly to the left of the cigarette lighter. You'll have to remove dash panels to get to it.
20.3 gallons
Yep and its located in either the glove compartment or right rear over the battery. Also in my 1988 325IS the cigarette lighter works to power my electrical devices however when i plug in most/all new devices the stupid thing doesn't work and the reason for this is the alignment of the contacts on the plug-in. Try some of your old devices first and if none work then it could be your fuse. YOUR WELCOME :-D
Bad lighter maybe? Something else hooked into the same circuit and when you use the lighter it overloads the circuit, blowing the fuse? because of where the lighter outlet sets anything you plug in get hit by the shifter check for loose or frayed wires behind it
about 7-13 mpg
where is the fuse located at for the radio cigarette lighter and interer lights for an 1989 Chevy celebrity. Look up the fuse chart in the owners manual, and each slot is numbered. I think it's number 12 or 15, and a metal fuse, rather than a colourful plastic one, since the load on the circuit is larger. That's the way it is on an '86 Eurosport.
it is mounted in the dash on the drivers side. It is designed to be see from out side the vehicle.
