Why did they make halo reach so bad?
halo reach is not a bad game. it simply isn't what people expected after halo 3. Reach was a huge letdown to many true halo fans for many reasons. one being that it is simply boring. Halo 3 could literally be played for days on end. the physics were amazing and the gameplay simply cannot be beat by any other fps. Reach however is significantly less fun. from my own experience this game cannot be played beyond 5 matches at a time. It is MUCH less fun than halo 3 and considering bungie made an amazing succession of games for their first three halo games, Reach came as a huge let down. there are barely any vehicle maps and even on the maps that do have them you can easily tell that something is "off" about them. I speculate that they seriously messed up the physics for the vehicles and made some shortcuts in their programming (simply compare the warthog in halo 3 to Reach and you'll see what I mean). One of the most annoying things is the reticle bloom as well. it simply detracts from the fun of the game and makes simple faceoffs incredibly frustrating especially for new players. This is most obvious for the DMR. honestly the BR was the best, most balanced and fun weapon in any game that still took skill to use. but bungie took it away and replaced it with the piece of filth that is the DMR. For me personally the worst thing about Reach is that is almost successfully ended halo 3's glory days where anybody could have fun playing it for hours. Since bungie seems to have made sure that Reach bashing videos and blogs aren't in the top google hits, there arent many statistics i can use to prove why reach is so much worse than halo 3 other than 9 million people could easily be seen online during the day playing halo 3 while there's like 100 thousand people playing reach daily. that has got to say something. you dont have to agree with me on this one but im sure a lot of people feel that bungie has let them down on this one

Halo 3 for PC will be released under Industries 343, a branch of microsoft. It will most likely be released after Halo:Reach, around the Fall of 2010. Halo 3 sold 8.3 million Xbox 360 games more than the 7.8 million that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 did. Also if you add just the PS3 sales to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 total the game is better selling than Halo 3 (See related links). I'm going to assume that you mean Halo: Reach or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. CoD: MW2 is a better game if you want more in-your-face action. CoD also has more weapons than Halo: Reach. In my opinion, Halo: Reach is better. Not just in Halo: Reach, but in all the Halo games, the story is immensely detailed and the maps are incredibly bigger than anything that CoD could ever do. There is also a more in-depth story behind Halo than CoD because The Halo Franchise, for the most part, follows the same story arc. Every Call of Duty game starts you out with a new set of characters that you have to get used to, the only exception being the transition of MW2 to MW3. Also, not very many people still play CoD: MW2 ever since CoD: MW3 came out. If you look at the Halo Servers, not just 360 Live but PC Live Servers, people still play the original Halo: Combat Evolved (not the 10th Anniversary Edition). I have the original Halo: Combat Evolved Trial on my thumb-drive and people still play multiplayer on that. How many people do you know that still play the original Call of Duty online. I don't know, but I bet it's slim to none.

probably not the only map on halo trial is blood gluch or gulch whatever any way the halo combat evolved has been discontinued but you can buy it cheaply at some stores i did
