The gas carbon dioxide is released.
Acids react with metals to evolve H2 gas
Hydrogen gas and metal cations
Hydrogen gas
HC2H3O2 is acetic acid. Magnesium will react with water or acids to produce hydrogen gas.
Methanol with the formel CH3OHLime stone = Correct answerand in fact any carbonate - so Lithium, potassium and Magnesium carbonates will react with acids to form carbon dioxide
indeed it does my friend
carbon dioxide is released carbonates react with acids
Yes, indeed it is.
When acids react with carbonates, carbon dioxide is produced. You can test this by waiting for the chemical reaction to take place and then using a bung to insert the gas into lime water!

I only know 3 metals that react with acids to produce hydrogen. They are Zinc, iron and magnesium. There are 3 acids which react with them: and It will produce hydrogen gas which is the lightest known gas and is flammable :)

no
Yes. Even Bicarbonates also give out Carbon dioxide.
