What is the gases inside the heart?
The heart pumps blood which is a liquid. A certain amount of gas is absorbed by blood (particularly oxygen, which the body needs) but it is not in the form of a gas when the heart pumps it.

While the Nitrogen gas from the air is inert and does not play any part in body processes, Henry's gas laws require that some of the Nitrogen will be absorbed/dissolve in the blood (and body tissues). This becomes an issue for sub aqua divers where the presence of this dissolved nitrogen causes the "bends".
